Recognition celebrates Lindsay Schroeder for her work to inspire the next generation of female manufacturing talent while guiding innovation at Marvin
3/6/25
Lindsay Schroeder, senior director of the Transformation Management Office + Marvin Connected Home at Marvin, was named a recipient of the 2025 Women MAKE Awards. Presented by the Manufacturing Institute as a part of the organization’s Women MAKE America initiative, the national award recognizes top female talent in manufacturing, science, technology, engineering, and production careers who exemplify leadership within their organizations.
As the head of Marvin’s recently formed Transformation Management Office, Lindsay has applied her background, formed by a marriage of manufacturing and management, to champion new ways of thinking and innovative approaches to growth at Marvin. Her leadership guided the meticulous development of Marvin Connected Home, a first-of-its-kind automated solution for windows, doors, and skylights combining stunning design and smart technology.
“Lindsay embodies what it means to be a people-first leader in modern manufacturing,” said Marvin Chief Marketing + Experience Officer and past Women MAKE Award recipient Christine Marvin. “Her leadership navigating the needs and priorities of our teams is invaluable to our ability to execute forward-thinking initiatives that bring exciting transformation into focus as we look toward the future. Lindsay’s inherent passion for learning and growth and her willingness to ask tough questions while simultaneously curating a culture of inclusive connectedness has not only made her an incredible asset in building a strong culture of optimistic innovation at Marvin, but also a powerful example of female leadership to our team and her community.”
Notably, Schroeder served as Marvin’s first female plant manager where she was responsible for manufacturing operations management at one of Marvin’s largest facilities. She soon became a mentor to female plant managers that followed at locations across the country while also mentoring students through Marvin’s internship program, providing hands-on learning opportunities to emerging professionals in manufacturing.
“I’m honored to receive this recognition from the Manufacturing Institute and grateful to Christine and Marvin leadership for their ongoing support,” said Schroeder. “By investing in research-backed next-generation technologies at Marvin, we continue to evolve our products to meet the needs of tomorrow’s homeowners in exciting ways. I’m proud to be a part of a team that puts collaboration and transformation at the forefront of everything we do.”
