Marvin Logos

The Elements of the Logo Lock-up

The logo lock-up consists of the Marvin logotype with the registered trademark symbol and the rose element, which is referred to as the mark. Each element has been carefully selected, sized and positioned. These combined elements are called the Marvin logo lock-up. The individual elements that comprise the logo lock-up can never be repositioned or resized.

Color Logo Lock-up

The full-color version of the logo lock-up is the preferred version. It can only be reproduced against a white, or a light, neutral background. When using the full-color version, all typography within the logo lock-up is black. The rose mark is reproduced in four-color process as shown.

When reproducing the logo lock-up on black, or a dark, neutral background, all typography within the logo lock-up reverses to white, and the rose mark is reproduced in four-color process. Make sure the background is dark enough to provide adequate visibility for the typography.

Black & White Logo Lock-up

When reproducing the logo lock-up in a single color on a light-colored background, the entire logo lock-up must be printed in black. The rose is also printed in black.

When reproducing the logo lock-up in a single color reverse form against a black, or a dark, neutral background, the typography and rose appear in white. If you must use a colored stock or background, use a neutral color so that the Marvin logo lock-up retains its integrity.

MINIMUM

CLEAR SPACE

The logo should always be surrounded by a clear space that is at least half of the size of the rose (½X with the rose = X). If available, more clear space is encouraged. To protect our identity, do not place other logos, type, imagery, or other graphical elements within the boundaries of the minimum clear space.
