Modern Swinging Doors
The Modern Swinging Door pairs pure modern aesthetic with category-leading performance for design flexibility. An inswing door opens over steps or spaces exposed to the elements, and an outswing door is ideal for limited interior spaces.
- Made with a durable high-density fiberglass exterior and a low-maintenance extruded aluminum interior
- Panels can reach operating widths of 4 feet, stationary widths up to 12 feet, and heights up to 12 feet
- Two 7 inch adjustable hinges per panel, all heights up to 12 feet
- Narrow stile and rail dimensions: 3 3/8 inches
- Robust 2 1/4 inch standard panel thickness

Featuring a unique and minimalist design with square corners and vertical slide locks, Modern door hardware minimizes visual distraction and maintains sleek sightlines. All fasteners are stainless steel, and a multi-point lock engages when the door is closed for a secure lock and tight seal from top to bottom.

Sills
The Modern Swinging Door is designed to work with three sill options to complement a modern lifestyle. If a smooth transition from indoors to out or ADA compliance is important, a Saddle Sill in weather-protected areas or a Low-Profile Sill rated and certified for performance when exposed to weather conditions is available. When performance is a priority and a sill does not need to be recessed, our Performance Sill offers an ideal option.

Decorative Glass
A variety of decorative glass options are available to meet the unique needs of each project, and laminated glazing is also available in clear, bronze, gray, or green with tinted interlayers.Selected:

Energy Efficiency
Selecting the right options for large expanses of glass is an important aspect for balancing wide-open views with energy efficiency. Choose from dual pane or triple pane glass with Low E coatings and Argon insulating gas. Divided Lites
Achieve a unique aesthetic with divided lites on any Modern window or door. Select from a variety of customizable patterns, available on both dual pane and triple pane products.
Simulated Divided Lite with Spacer Bar (SDLS)
Paired with aluminum SDL bars on the exterior of the glass, an aluminum spacer bar is installed between the glass. Available in 7/8” and 1 1/8” widths and 5 colors.
The 2 7/8” Simulated Frame, also with black spacer bars, features an aluminum interior and high density fiberglass exterior. It can be combined with 7/8” or 1 1/8” SDL bars in Simulated Rail Rectangular, Simulated Rail Prairie 6, Simulated Rail Prairie 9, and Simulated Frame patterns.

Lock Status Sensor
The Marvin Lock Status Sensor brings smart home capabilities to Marvin windows and doors. This affordable solution is installed in the factory and fully concealed – meaning no unsightly sensors attached on the exterior or interior, and no additional modification of your product once installed. The sensor can be wired or wirelessly connected, working in tandem with your smart home security system to indicate if windows and doors are closed and locked or unlocked, providing peace of mind when security is a concern.
