15,000 square feet built on two acres and abutting 70+ acres of woodland, this Frank Lloyd Wright-inspired family home lives up to its name.
The Happy Valley residence consists of two stories with seven bedrooms, ten bathrooms and a daylight basement. Other amenities include a wine room, theater room, large heated outdoor living space, two outdoor kitchens, an exercise room with sauna, an outdoor swimming pool and a five-car garage.
The homeowners' wish was to achieve generous amounts of natural light while maintaining a strong sense of privacy. Marvin provided the creative solutions to successfully balance these desires with the home's architectural form.
From the signature corner windows to the ten-foot entry door, Marvin's range of options created opportunities for experimentation with light in bold ways while allowing consistency of interior and exterior finishes.
Additionally, Marvin provided structural reinforcements at the mullions, allowing for the use of large units while retaining a sense of privacy.
