A Message from Paul Marvin About COVID-19

Like us, you’ve probably been hearing many words lately that you never thought you’d hear: pandemic, social distancing, “flattening the curve.” Fortunately, there are other words and actions we’re hearing and seeing that are worth noting: helping, caring, support and teamwork.

While we’ve faced many challenges in our long history, we are in an unprecedented situation as we continue to watch the spread and impact of COVID-19. I am confident we will overcome this tough situation together as we have in the past. We’ve already seen tremendous strength and compassion from people around the world, partners in the field and employees throughout our company.

Your safety and that of our team members is our top priority. At Marvin, we are going to continue to do essential work and are operating as normal, but with added precautions. Our manufacturing facilities are functioning at normal capacity, but with many additional measures to keep our employees safe, and we expect our lead times to remain stable.

To further prevent the spread of COVID-19, as recommended by the CDC and local health authorities, we are:

  • Advising any and all employees to stay home if they feel sick, with extended paid leave
  • Limiting group meetings, in number and in attendee size
  • Increasing social distancing across facilities
  • Increasing cleaning and handwashing
  • Communicating and educating our teams on the latest recommendations every day

We’ve taken additional steps to combat the spread of illness and support our teams, including discontinuing business travel, postponing in-person tours and training sessions and extending our leave policies for employees. We are also working together with our dealers and business partners around the country to adjust logistics and delivery and enact continuity plans to minimize disruption.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us.

Be safe and stay healthy,

Paul Marvin
