To designer Amber Lewis, of Amber Interiors, natural light is everything. As a self-proclaimed homebody, she wanted to ensure that her home renovation included windows and doors that are not only beautiful but bring in lots of natural light and frame views of the stunning property.

“One of the main things I love about this home is the property. We’re surrounded by huge, beautiful trees and I wanted to make our outdoors part of the indoors. In fact, the property is so beautiful that it was the main selling point when we landed on this home.”

Reveal: Designer Amber Lewis’s Belgian Farmhouse

When California designer Amber Lewis completed her Belgian farmhouse remodel, she knew she’d successfully created a space where her family could retreat and gather for calm moments amidst their busy lives.


Taking into consideration her family’s deep love of the outdoors, Lewis recognized that it would be crucial to access ample views of nature and abundant natural light throughout the house, and that’s precisely what she accomplished. The resulting home strikes a balance between indoors and outdoors while elevating unique design elements.
