Architect: Herta Gaus
Architect Firm: Adrian-Gaus Architects Inc
Location: Redlands, CA
Project Type: New Construction
This 60-year-old church in the historic downtown of Redlands had originally been designed in the Mission Revival style. Over the years, additions and remodels had compromised the original design. The client had important design criteria for this most recent renovation, including increased seating capacity, relocated offices, enhanced energy efficiency, and a more balanced overall appearance. Marvin helped meet these goals with several large round-top windows throughout the building. The stained glass window above the main entrance features a design honoring lost family members of one of the sponsors for the building remodel.
