Project Type: Replace and Remodel
Renovating this brownstone home was a challenge in providing the amenities for a modern family in a townhouse that is narrow, multi-level, and without windows to the north and south. Therefore, the finished design strives to create light and airy spaces, while still offering refuge in a bustling, densely populated city. Marvin windows brought a timeless quality to the home with versatility that fits in with traditional and contemporary architecture. On the exterior of the townhouse, double hung windows maintained the look of other Victorian era homes nearby. On the interior, crisp minimal designs were chosen to meet the homeowner’s desire for a more modern space.
