Rural Retreat by Rehkamp Larson Architects

Residential Design featured a Minnesota home combining cabin and farmhouse styles. The original home on the lot had withered away over the years. Rehkamp Larson Architects was just the team to rebuild a home even more beautiful than the first. Mark Larson and the crew used salvaged timber on the exterior, a laborious process that was well worth it in the end, according to builder Justin Halverson. More reclaimed materials were used for flooring, cabinets, and trim.


Careful placement of Marvin windows throughout the home provide multidirectional views of the sounding landscape.
