The Star Tribune published an article showcasing the efforts of Warroad and other small Minnesota towns to further develop their communities. Warroad, where Marvin is headquartered, is six miles from the Canadian border and has a population of only about 1,800. Even so, new businesses opening there include a brewery, a restaurant, a boutique hotel, and a bubble-tea shop.


Grant Oppegaard, a consultant for the U.S. Small Business Administration, said that Warroad is “accomplishing more successes in small business of any town I have under 5,000 people — and that is 78 of them.” Read the full article at www.startribune.com.
