Before & After: A Once-Stuffy Midcentury Is Refreshed With an Airy and Arty Renovation

Dwell+ teamed up with Amber Lestrange Mosier and Cary Mosier to tour their beautiful Los Angeles home. With help from Klein Agency, they redesigned the footprint of the house, mainly to allow easier flow to the backyard. The original layout provided no access to the patio and pool area. They expanded the kitchen and added large Marvin sliding patio doors that lead to the patio. The warm wood finish pairs well with the oak floors that brighten up the whole space. Neutral and subtle textures make up the majority of the interior design, allowing for interesting accents.
