She will be based at the company’s Warroad headquarters and will report to Paul Marvin, president of the third- and fourth-generation family-owned and operated fenestration company. As chief human resources officer, Tennessen is charged with encouraging and facilitating a performance-based culture while working closely with the executive team to establish and implement leadership priorities for continued growth and innovation.

We’re also pleased to welcome Krischelle and her husband, Scott, to the Warroad community.”

Most recently, Tennessen was senior vice president of grow people/human resources at Krause Holdings Inc., a West Des Moines, Iowa-based company with a large, diversified portfolio including the privately held, company-operated convenience store chain Kum & Go, as well as fuel and logistics company Solar Transport. She previously held senior human resources positions with Walmart in Bentonville, Ark., and both human resources and operations roles with Target in Minneapolis.

“I’m delighted to join a family-owned company that is led by people who place such a high value on honesty, hard work and service to the communities where their employees live and work,” said Tennessen. “The future of The Marvin Companies is bright, and I am looking very forward to joining a team that is committed to people and purpose – the true backbone of the company.”

A native of Minnesota, Tennessen holds a bachelor’s degree in human resources management from Winona State University and master’s degree in organizational management from the University of Phoenix.
