WARROAD, Minn. — August 16, 2013 — For the past five years, an esteemed panel of judges has chosen winners of the Marvin Architect’s Challenge – projects that meet their high standards for architectural excellence. For the first time this year, Marvin Windows and Doors is giving the public the chance to choose one of the winners in the first-ever Marvin Architect’s Challenge Showdown.
Voting for the final round concludes on August 23, and the winner of the Architect’s Challenge Showdown will be announced on August 26 – so be sure to cast your vote today at http://www.marvin.com/marvin/promotions/architects-challenge.
The Architect’s Challenge is fast becoming one of the premier showcases in the architectural world. Winning projects in previous years have displayed the remarkable creativity of architects in styles both traditional and contemporary, in buildings both residential and commercial. Previous winners of Marvin Windows and Doors’ prestigious award program have come from Spain, Ireland and across the United States.
“The Architect’s Challenge Showdown gives the public an opportunity to tell the world which projects best represent the architectural potential of Marvin products,” said Christine Marvin, director of marketing for Marvin Windows and Doors. “It’s fun to see which projects the public responds to, and I’m looking forward to seeing which one receives the top recognition among the work of these talented architects.”
The Architect’s Challenge Showdown joins the Judge’s Choice Award as a new addition to the fifth annual Marvin Architect’s Challenge. The projects competing the showdown represent the most impressive displays of creative and solution-driven architectural design. During five rounds of voting throughout the summer, architects’ work will be put to the test as the public votes for its favorite project. The highest vote-getter will be crowned the People’s Choice and win a trip to Reinvention Convention held in San Francisco in October.
All winners of the Marvin Architect’s Challenge will be featured on Marvin’s website and blog, in email newsletters, and on several social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest. Additionally, each winner will be spotlighted in media and blog outreach.
