The Clad Ultimate Outswing Bi-Fold Door has three sill options available to fit a project's needs.  The balance of performance and transitions from the interior to the exterior vary by the type of sill chosen.

  • Standard/Performance Sill - Designed to be installed onto any floor foundation and is made with a draining system that utilizes innovative corner key weeps. An ideal choice for locations that are most exposed to the elements.  It is rated up to six panels at a DP40 or DP50 depending on height.  A step down is required when transitioning through the door from the interior to the exterior.
    ◦ Material: Glass-filled polyurethane, beige or bronze
    ◦ Extruded aluminum sill insert, beige or bronze
    ◦ Frame weather strip, beige or black
    ◦ Extruded aluminum sill liner, beige or bronze default (optional wood-wrapped oak, cherry, mahogany)
    ◦ 6 21/32" (169) wide x 2 5/32" (55) tall

  • Low Profile Sill - Provides minimal interruption when moving from the interior to the exterior of the door.  The corner keys for this sill do provide a weep system for the ability to manage some water.  Sheltered conditions are an ideal location for the Low Profile Sill.  This sill has not been tested for performance.
    ◦ Material: Aluminum exterior and interior separated by a thermal break, clear or dark bronze anodized

  • Floor Channel - Provides the least interruption when moving from the interior to the exterior of the door.  This sill should be used only for interior applications.  This sill has not been tested for performance.
    ◦ Material: Extruded aluminum, beige or bronze
    ◦ 1 49/64" (24) wide x 1 7/64" (28) high
    ◦ No performance warranty for air/water infiltration
