FAQ Knowledge Articles

StormPlus® is the Marvin terminology for product that has been tested to meet the rigorous testing for coastal, hurricane areas of the country. The high-performance window or door product utilizes laminated glass, a greater amount of wood, and enhanced construction to perform in those zones.

The product is designed to reduce the chance of flying debris penetrating the glass, thus preventing the structural envelope from being breached. If breached through a broken window or door, wind may enter the building causing an increase in pressure that could lift the roof and push the walls outward. Marvin StormPlus windows and doors meet the strictest building codes and regulatory changes in every state.

Integrity Wood Ultrex IMPACT products have also been tested to the Impact Zone 3 standards.
