Bi-fold Door:
Clad Ultimate Outswing Bi-fold door

  • Choose from 1 to 16 panels, 91 configurations. Configurations include left, right, or center operation.
  • Some configurations include an access panel that opens like a traditional swinging door for easy access.
  • Some configurations are not accessible from the exterior.
  • All configurations have folding panels that allow for an uninhibited opening.
  • Available only in Clad.
  • Interior retractable screen options are available.  Unidirectional up to 12 feet wide by 10 feet tall or Bi-parting up to 24 feet wide by 10 feet tall.
  • Not available in a pocketing configuration.
  • Jamb depth minimum 5 9/16".
  • Three Sill Options - Performance Sill (Standard), Low Profile Sill, Floor Channel
  • Minimum operating frame size 32 29/32" x 55 25/64" (Using a Floor Channel Sill)
  • Minimum operating panel 29 1/16" x 59 15/32"
  • Minimum stationary frame size 18" x 25 63/64" (Using Floor Channel Sill)

  • Operating units with a Performance Sill are rated to a PG50 with six panels up to frame size 251 9/32" x 95 1/2", or PG40 up to frame size 251 9/32" x 119 1/2".
  • Stationary units with a Performance Sill are rated to PG50 frame size 44 29/32" x 119 1/2" with one panel.
  • Door panels are hung from the header and only allow 1/16" max header deflection over opening span.
  • Doors that contain a handle allow for single panel operation and requires manual operation of concealed bolts with an interior handle to open all panels.
  • Doors without an exterior handle (only specific configurations) operate with concealed bolts using an interior handle.

Clad Ultimate Multi-Slide Door

  • Stacked Configurations: At least one panel is stationary with bi-parting doors having two stationary panels. When open, operating panels stack behind the stationary panels.
  • Pocket Configurations: All panels operate with at least one pocket. Bi-parting doors will have two pockets. When opened, all panels are concealed within the pocket.
  • All Door units are shipped knocked-down (KD).
  • Marvin Authorized Installer is not required.
  • Available only in Clad.
  • Interior retractable screen options are available.  Unidirectional up to 12 feet wide by 10 feet tall or Bi-parting up to 24 feet wide by 10 feet tall.
  • Panel thickness 2 1/4"
  • 4 3/4" Stiles and Rails
  • Minimum Panel Sizes:  See Marvin Lift and Slide Architectural Detail Manual (ADM)
  • Maximum Panel Width 71 1/16" (may differ by configuration), Height 140 1/2" (Maximum overall panel size will be limited by maximum 60 square feet of glass per panel.
  • Jamb depth minimum 6 25/32" and will increase with the amount of tracks required for the door.
  • Three sill options available: Flush, Performance Sill, High Performance Sill
  • Certified Stormplus Impact Zone 3 with Performance and High Performance Sill options
  • Rated with Performance and High Performance sills from DP40 to DP 55 depending on configuration and panel height.
  • Sliding door Automatic Control is an available option.
  • Allowable header deflection 1/8" max over entire header span.
  • Available as a center stacked unit with operating panels on both sides.
  • Not available as a corner configuration.
  • Hardware requires unlocking of primary panel only prior to door operation.
  • Bi-Parting units have a manual flush bolt on the edge of the panel on visible when primary panel is open.

Ultimate Lift and Slide

  • Stacked Configurations: At least one panel is stationary with bi-parting doors having two stationary panels. When open, operating panels stack over the stationary panels.
  • Pocket Configurations: All panels operate with at least one pocket. Bi-parting doors will have two pockets. When opened, all panels are concealed within the pocket.
  • All Door units are shipped knocked-down (KD).
  • A Marvin Authorized Installer is required for installation.
  • No screen options available at this time.
  • Panel Thickness 2 3/4"
    • Traditional Panel - 6" Stiles and Top Rail, 8 1/8" Bottom Rail
    • Contemporary Panel - 4" Stiles and Top Rail, 6" Bottom Rail
  • Minimum Panel Size 31" x 51" (Recessed/Flush Sill); 35" x 51" (Performance Sill)
  • Maximum Panel Size 73 7/32" Width, 143" Height (Must not exceed 60 square feet of glass per panel)
  • Jamb depth minimum 6 27/32" and will increase with the amount of tracks in the door.
  • Four Sill Options available: Standard Recess, Recessed Drainage, Flush Mount, and Performance Sill with subfloor or open face slot
  • The Performance Sill is rated for a DP30 up to four panels at a size of 235 1/2" x 123" pocketing and 236" x 123" as a stacked configuration.
  • Allowable header deflection 1/8" over entire header span.
  • Sill must be within 1/32" level across the entire length.
  • Available as a corner configuration.
  • Not available as a center stacked configuration with operating panels on both sides.
  • Operation of hardware lifts panel up on to rollers.
  • Each panel has hardware that must be operated prior to operation.
  • Panels can be lifted and operated independently of one another as long as they are not between two locked/down panels.
  • Primary Panel contains a minimum of two locking points for securing to the jamb or inactive panel.
