Overlooking an iconic lake in the heart of Minneapolis, this modern artisan residence takes full advantage of its site. With a small footprint yet open design, stunning views are present in every room—making the windows a huge focal point of the home.
The design goal was to take full advantage of the views of Lake Bde Maka Ska—part of a chain of lakes that define the city. The strikingly beautiful, contemporary abode from John Kraemer & Sons provides a unique combination of privacy from the neighbors—along with grand lake views—thanks to its large walls of durable, custom-colored windows and doors from the Marvin Elevate Collection, strategically placed to limit views from the outside.
The home’s clean, organically modern aesthetic presents beautifully through every inch of the 2,800-square-foot, three-bedroom, three-bath home. The contemporary appeal begins with the exterior—a combination of natural stone, Cor-Ten steel, wood and expansive windows—all in perfect alignment.
