The project scope included a 475 sf addition and 225 sf interior renovation to create a new kitchen with adjacent sitting room and mud room. The existing home faces the street and river beyond, however the main entry is at the rear, creating a mixed front door message. To remedy this, we proposed a new entry porch at the back of the house and relocated existing wood brackets as an architectural porch detail.
