This Cotswold Revival home, built in the 1920s, had classic lines — and classic spaces, meaning too small and too dark. Interior designer Arthur Dunnam set out to bring light into the house, “which had been a bit dark and gloomy,” he told TrendsIdeas.com.

Wow. We see a lot of spectacular homes, but there’s something about this Aspen, Colo., project we found on Houzz that draws us in. It’s got to be that curved roof and the wall of Marvin windows. With today’s window technology, homeowners can create large expanses of glass with virtually no loss of energy efficiency.
