Photos: Italian mansions left in ruins

Normally at MLuxe, we feature beautiful homes in near-pristine condition. But sometimes it’s just really interesting to look at houses that are falling apart.

A few years back, we featured some grand Russian houses that had fallen into disuse and disrepair, but Russia certainly isn’t the only land where beautiful houses are left to nature. The Daily Mail recently featured some beautiful Italian mansions (photographed by Thomas Jorion) that are no longer used. Based on their current condition, just imagine what they must have looked like during their glory days!

You can see more images and find more information here. Talk about a major renovation project! If you had the time and money, would you want to take this sort of restoration on to live la dolce vita?
