Old bus converted into gorgeous home on wheels with architectural flair

Have you ever wondered what happens to old buses? Once they’re past the point of repair, they’re probably just used for scrap. But with a little architectural and design know-how, they could be transformed into a beautiful home. And here’s a real-life example: Treehugger recently featured the efforts of two Israeli women who took an old bus and turned it into this:

It’s sleek and spacious (seriously, would you guess this bathroom is in a bus?!) and a very cool alternative living solution that gave an old bus a new lease on life.

If you could redesign anything into a home, what would it be? A bus? An airplane? A shipping container? Let us know in the comments!
