Lake Minnetonka dream home on the Parade of Homes

Right in our Minnesota backyard, this beautiful modern house on Lake Minnetonka uses Marvin windows to open up the lakeside scene and bring it in. According to the Star Tribune, the house has many cool features such as:

  • A large granite island in the kitchen. This can take the place of a dining room table for dinner parties, which we think is a great idea. After all, doesn’t everyone love to gather in the kitchen? It makes sense to have a casual island that can comfortably seat all of your guests!
  • A massive master bedroom. Billed as an “owner’s retreat,” this suite has a sitting room, bathroom, breakfast bar, balcony and a fireplace — all overlooking the lake.
  • A remote-controlled system. If you’ve ever fretted about if you turned the lights off, this house might just be the mansion for you! The heating, cooling and lighting can be controlled by smartphone.

You can check this home out on the Parade of Homes. There are other great houses as well (and Marvin is sponsoring the Remodelers Showcase!). The Parade of Homes ends March 24, so get out there!
