This suite at the Ice Hotel in Jukkasjärvi, Sweden, is designed to recreate the feel of a Paris rooftop. The Icehotel is the largest hotel built of snow and ice in the world. Located 200 kilometers north of the Arctic Circle, it’s an exercise in artistry — each themed room is created by a different artist.
Carrying on the northern theme, the ION Hotel in Iceland is situated amid majestic glaciers and bubbling hot springs. Despite its remote surroundings and industrial-looking, prefab design, it’s a true luxury retreat.
The last one is a bit of a trick. Photographer Victor Enrich photographed a Munich hotel and then reimagined it in 88 different ways through digital manipulation. Take a look at his creations and imagine yourself sleeping in one of them! We’d prefer the ice hotel.
