A 160-Year-Old Home Gets A Makeover

header_image.jpg

A 160-year-old home in the Charleston, S.C., has great bones but needs to be updated for more comfortable and efficient living. The owners have already completed an addition (with Marvin windows). Now they want to update the English basement, which opens onto a beautiful garden but is dark and drafty. Working with an architect and their local Marvin dealer, the homeowners face a variety of choices — all of them good! — to bring light and life to their home.

We’re working with Traditional Home magazine to tell the story of this project. It’s one of several you can find on our Marvin Storybuilders site. Partnering with leading media outlets like Dwell, Southern Living and This Old House, we’re bringing you beautifully presented stories of homeowners like you who made their homes into a reflection of their personal style and desires.

For Marvin, “Built around you” is more than a slogan — it’s a promise.
