We are currently seeking a Repair Mechanic for the Maintenance Department at our Warroad, MN location.
Responsibilities include:
- Maintaining ground care equipment and industrial vehicles
- Operating and maintaining low pressure boiler systems
- Performing yard maintenance duties such as: lawn care and snow/ice removal
- Responsible to learn and use the Maintenance software (CMMS)
- Other miscellaneous duties as backlogs dictate
Requirements include:
- Secondary schooling in a mechanical field and/or related job experience
- State of Minnesota Boiler Operator License or willingness to obtain one
- CDL helpful, but may not be necessary
- Safe work habits
- Ability to troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on electric, gas, LP, and diesel powered vehicles
- Computer skills
- Willing to be trained in confined space entry
- Able to operate heavy equipment such as: pay loaders, trucks, bobcats, forklifts, and lawn equipment
- Physically fit, able to work at elevated heights and in confined spaces
- Ability to read and understand schematics and equipment manuals
- Good people skills
- Familiar with grounds and other Marvin properties
Hours:
- Core hours - 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m., Monday - Friday, but due to the unexpected responsibilities may fluctuate with weather and business conditions
- Schedule may also flex in order to fill in as boiler operator, which operates every day including weekends and holidays
