Visit Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine's sophisticated, stylish home with Architectural Digest

By John Kirchner February 4, 2013

“As anyone who has watched even a little MTV knows, Los Angeles rock-star bachelor pads tend to fall into two distinct categories: louche Vegas-like fantasies or high-tech digs crammed with the latest toys for boys. And yet the home of arguably the most sizzling rock star on the planet right now — Adam Levine, the front man for Maroon 5 — conforms to neither stereotype.”

So begins Architectural Digest’s profile of Levine and his 1940 ranch-style Hollywood home. The article explores how Levine’s longtime friend Mark Haddawy, a 20th-century-design collector and co-owner of a vintage-clothing boutique, helped shape the home’s layout and style during a the refurbishing process. The result is a home filled with elegant touches — a dark, comfortable bedroom and a meticulous stainless-steel kitchen — mixed with offbeat additions like a gold-plated machine-gun lamp and what looks like a bronzed skull at his bedside.
