If you’re a regular reader of this blog, you’ve probably seen our coverage of the Architect’s Challenge winners. These gorgeous projects cover the gamut of residential to commercial, old to new, traditional to contemporary. We’re inspired by their creativity and thrilled with their use of Marvin product.
And if you’re an architect who has ever thought to yourself, “I wish one of my projects was featured on MLuxe and marvin.com,” guess what? It could be! Marvin is now accepting entries for the 2013 Architect’s Challenge!
We are so excited to see what architects are doing with our products and can’t wait to see this year’s entries. The contest runs until May 1, 2013, so don’t delay! You will need at least three portfolio-quality photos as well as a description of your Marvin project from the last 10 years. As a reminder, you must be an architect to enter this contest.
Marvin has a few new twists to this year’s Architect’s Challenge too! The grand prize winner of the Challenge will receive a feature in Dwell Magazine. We will also have the inaugural Architect’s Challenge Showdown. The “people’s choice” winning project will be voted on by marvin.com users (from all submitted entries) in several rounds until the winner is announced on August 26. The Showdown winner will get a free trip to the October Reinvention Convention in San Francisco.
All other winners chosen by the judges will get to spend a few days in beautiful Warroad, Minn. to see how Marvin makes its windows. This trip will count as eight AIA-CES HSW LUs.
What are you waiting for? If you have a great Marvin project, submit it today! The entry form can be found here and official rules are here. To see what past Architect’s Challenge winners have done, you can get inspired by the 2011 and 2012 winners.
We hope to see your entry for the 2013 Architect’s Challenge!
