Massachusetts Island Home By Marvin Windows
This Massachusetts single-family island home was built using an array of sustainability strategies to minimize the construction’s environmental impact and blend seamlessly with the surrounding landscape. Sitting between the ocean and a shallow bay, the project includes a main residence, a garage, a storage shed and a boat house. Fully operable glass windows surround the exterior, boasting large sliding panels of glass and opening corner windows, allowing for unobstructed views of the water. These windows also encourage natural light and ventilation, reducing electric and HVAC usage.
