Dallas Nature-Inspired HouseBy Marvin Windows
Sitting on a 13-acre site, this Texas home beautifully incorporates the nature surrounding it. The residence is part of Dallas’s first low-impact development called Urban Reserve, a neighborhood of “modern, single-family, architect-designed homes.” Broken up into two 16-foot wide rectangles, the home features a 50-foot-long garage with two bedrooms and bath over top of it. All sides of the residence are different, incorporating an interesting mix of stucco and metal-clad. In addition, architect Max Levy added a two-story metal-clad cylinder to function as the home’s entryway. And on top of it? A martini deck. Read more about this geometric Dallas home here.
