Since 1982, the plant has been devoted to the production of Marvin doors. From just six employees, the Ripley facility now covers 570,000 square feet and employs more than 800 people.

Ripley was the first of the Marvin companies to implement 5S, a visual workplace, as the basis for ensuring a safe working environment, a quality product, and a cost effective manufacturing process.

Training

Marvin-Tennessee strives to provide an atmosphere in which each Associate is allowed to develop into all she/he can be. Our tuition reimbursement program helps finance business-related continuing education. We offer Continuous Improvement Team Training to all Associates. As we see a training need, we create opportunities to provide it.

New to the job? Don't worry. On-the-job training and Cross-Training is provided for many of the manufacturing positions. Experienced, well-trained Associates who know the job inside and out will assure that everyone gets a good start.

As skills and experience develop, Associates may choose to apply for open positions throughout the company. Many Associates have already built their careers and many more will continue to grow their talents while working at Marvin.
