Finishing Process

Marvin protects your entry door by using a high-quality finishing process that surpasses most industry standards. The process includes:
  • Staining all sides of door components separately before assembly
  • Edge sealing
  • Oil-based staining
  • Hand sanding and smoothing techniques
  • Catalyzed sealers to protect the grain
  • Multi-layered topcoat with UV additives to protect your door from the elements

Wood Carving and Distressing

Marvin woodworkers can give any entry door an aged appearance by artfully gouging, scraping and chiseling out pieces of wood.
