ALUMINUM CLAD WOOD FOR A LOW MAINTENANCE EXTERIOR
All aluminum cladding is not created equal. Our extremely durable extruded aluminum substrate is significantly stronger than roll-form aluminum. Marvin clad meets the toughest AAMA 2605 70% PVDF standard for a finish with superior resistance to fading and chalking.

MARVIN ANODIZED FINISH
Anodized aluminum finishes are almost as hard as diamonds, and are one of the most durable finishes available. The anodizing process places the aluminum in a chemically stable and non-toxic bath. An electric current is passed through the bath, causing the surface of the aluminum to oxidize and form a stronger coating than the original surface of the aluminum. The resulting oxide coating provides outstanding surface properties including excellent resistance to abrasion, erosion, and ultraviolet light degradation.
Additional processing can add color to anodized aluminum ranging from bronze-tones to black, giving it the appearance of other metals. This process produces finishes in: black, champagne, clear anodized, dark bronze, extra dark bronze, light bronze, and medium bronze.
